UK police charge three more people over failed London bombing
font size

Three more people were charged Friday with failing to disclose information to police investigating the failed bomb attempts in London on 21 July, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported Friday.

Shadi Sami Abdel Gadir, 22, Omar Nagmeloin Almagboul, 20, and Mohamed Kabashi, 23, who had been arrested by police in Brighton, Sussex, last weekend will appear before Bow Street magistrates on Saturday.

On Friday, two relatives of suspected bomber Osman Hussain were remanded in custody on the same charge.

Yeshiemebet Girma, 29, the wife of the Shepherd's Bush bomb suspect, and his sister-in-law Mulumebet Girma, 21, appeared before Bow Street magistrates.

The sisters from south London were remanded in custody until 11 August.

They have been accused of "having information that they knew or believed might be of material assistance in securing the apprehension, prosecution or conviction" of Hussain in the UK for "an offence involving the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism".

Hussain, also known as Hamdi Isaac, is in custody in Italy and faces an extradition hearing on 17 August.

The failed attacks took place two weeks after the July 7 bombings which killed 56.
