Digging into a giant hotpot in Chongqing

The opening ceremony for the Fourth China Hotpot Expo kicked off in Yanyu Park in Chongqing, southwest China on October 31, 2009. The expo will last three days. Hundreds of thousands of people poured into the park to taste the giant hot pot banquet which last until 12 am. There were 1,100 tables, accommodated 11,000 people for a hotpot meal. The ingredients for hotpot, dishes and Chinese snacks are on show from October 31 to November 1.
