Rio is likely to host the World Cup final in 2014," Rees told reporters. "We don't want to raise expectations too high but we can only interpret it as a positive sign," Rees said. The Sydney site at Darling Harbour is expected to attract 30,000 fans a night, with all 64 matches of the tournament to be shown live on giant screens. The coverage of the matches will be complimented with pre-match and post match concerts and other performances. The site will also be linked to other live sites across the globe and the official broadcast coverage which will have a cumulative audience for the 64 games of about 30 billion people in214 countries. The exposure will be invaluable as Australia bids to host the 2018 and 2022 World Cup finals. The 2010 World Cup will be the first time the Fan Fest concept has been taken internationally. &$&$Source: Xinhua&$&$ </full-text>

<full-text>FC Barcelona plays perhaps the most important game of the season to date when Inter Milan visits the Camp Nou Stadium on Tuesday night. Barcelona goes into the match third in its qualifying group and knowing that defeat to the side coached by Jose Mourinho could leave them out of the competition they won last June. Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has to count on several injury worries. Star striker Leo Messi limped out of Saturday's 1-1 draw in Bilbao with a groin strain. Medical reports on Sunday gave him a chance of playing, but Messi will be a doubt until the last moment and could well start the game on the substitutes' bench. Zlatan Ibrahimovich is also doubtful for the match against his former side after missing Saturday's match with a hamstring problem, while Rafael Marquez has a fever and Toure Yaya and Eric Adidal have cases of the A/H1N1 Swine Flu virus. That means Maxwell will play at left back with Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique in central defense and Dani Alves on the right. The Barca defense will have to be at its best, because former Camp Nou hero Samuel Eto'o will be doing his best to score against his former club. Eto'o, who scored the opening goal of last season's final, was deemed surplus to requirements by Guardiola and formed part of the Ibrahimovich transfer. He will be keen to show Guardiola was wrong and his pace will be a constant threat. The Camp Nou will also be looking forward to welcoming back Mourinho, who was assistant to Bobby Robson in the late 90s. Mourinho became a hate figure for the Barca faithful during his time at Chelsea and can expect a difficult evening. With the visit of Real Madrid around the corner, Barcelona needs a win both to boost club morale and also to ensure its place in Europe. Any other result would be seen as a humiliation before the month of November has finished. &$&$Source: Xinhua&$&$ </full-text>

<full-text> The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported on Sunday that Shaquille O'Neal must pass an examination and undergo training first in the NBA star's efforts to further his off-the-court career in law enforcement. The Cleveland Cavaliers center has applied to become a special deputy in the Buckeye state. But the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy is currently reviewing O'Neal's qualifications. "It appears that O'Neal will need to undergo substantial additional training as well as successful completion of the state certification examination before he can become a certified peace officer in the state of Ohio," said Holly Hollingsworth, spokeswoman for the state attorney general. O'Neal would not be allowed to carry a gun and make arrests without that training, Hollingsworth said. If approved, O'Neal would have the right to carry a gun and make arrests but he would not be a paid, formal employee. Last month Cuyahoga County Sheriff Bob Reid notified the state academy, which determines officers' eligibility, that he will make O'Neal a deputy if he is approved by the state. O'Neal previously served roles with law enforcement agencies in Arizona, Virginia and Florida. The sheriff's Office submitted additional paperwork from Arizona to the state last week on behalf of O'Neal. O'Neal wants the state certification to work with the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children task force, Reid said. O'Neal will need to complete 30 of hours of police training within six months and pass both the Ohio police examination and a shooting test in order to maintain the appointment, Hollingsworth said. O'Neal shot targets at a sheriff's shooting range last week, and results from that test and his fingerprints were submitted to the state, Reid said. Special sheriffs are often used to supplement law enforcement staffing for special events. They typically include retired officers who use the commission to work private security jobs. &$&$Source: Xinhua&$&$ </full-text>

Jorgensen seemed to be in trouble in finding his own rhythm. Lin claimed the first set 21-12. Jorgensen tried to recover in the second set, only to find himself 1-7 behind Lin after several long rallies. He then made use of Lin's two errors to pull back to 3-7 before Lin speeded up to establish a 12-5 lead. Jorgensen seemed to have used up his energy after that, and Lin sealed his victory with another 21-12. Lin seemed excited after the final. "I feel happy to win China Open. I was troubled by injury all through these days, and I also feel tired because of the tight schedule. Anyway, winning a champion at home is exciting." Jorgensen seemed satisfied with his performance in this season. "It was a tough game and I hadn't expected to reach the final in this tournament, starting with beating Lee Chong Wei. We will follow the evolution of the injury, but his participation is not ruled out for Tuesday," Barcelona said in the press release. The same press release also said striker Zlatan Ibrahimovich could recover from his hamstring strain in time to face Inter, while adding that defender Rafael Marquez is not suffering from A/H1N1 flu. Toure Yaya does, however, have the virus and will not be available until the weekend. &$&$Source: Xinhua&$&$ </full-text>

<full-text>By Martin Williams South Africa's Crime Line organization has stepped up the fight against sex trade abuses known as "human trafficking" as the country gears up to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup, less than 200 days away. "With 2010 around the corner, we must stop the abuse of women and children," said South African Crime Line Chief Executive Yusuf Abramjee in Johannesburg on Sunday. Crime Line is a tip-off service where members of the public are encouraged to give the police information anonymously via cellphone text messages. The anticipated surge in human trafficking during the 2010 FIFA World Cup has prompted a prevention drive by nongovernmental organizations and the police, who say they have already begun tracking possible traffickers. Abramjee said the Crime Line special focus on human trafficking for the next two weeks would coincide with the annual 16 days of activism campaign against the abuse of women and children, which starts on Nov. 25 and runs until December 10. "The theme for the 16-days campaign is: ‘Don't look away, Act against Abuse'. This is exactly what Crime Line is constantly urging," said Abramjee. "Human trafficking is a growing problem worldwide. Women and children are constantly being exploited and abused. It's time to break our silence. If you have any information on human trafficking, send your tip-off to Crime Line now and the police will act." "Many women and children are also been drawn into prostitution by organized crime syndicates. Let's get the leaders of these syndicates arrested," said Abramjee. "We encourage the public to continue passing on general information but are zooming-in on human trafficking for the next two weeks. It's no secret that human trafficking increases around big event. And we have FIFA 2010 coming up." Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa said last week (November 19) "We need to strengthen the partnership between the police, the public and the media. The Crime Line initiative is a good example of how – if we all work together – we can win." "Since the launch of Crime Line in June 2007, 853 suspected criminals have been arrested and R32,1 million worth of stolen property, drugs and counterfeit goods has been seized by the SA Police Service," said the minister. "We are pleased to see more and more members of the public blowing the whistle on crime. We urge them to continue using the Crime Line", the minister said. "We know who does wrong in our communities – whether they are murderers, rapists, drug dealers, or peddlers, cash heist gangs, fraudsters, buyers of stolen goods, hijackers or robbers, don't protect them." "The war against criminals needs to be intensified. We will therefore not retreat from our tough stance neither will we be distracted. We will search and find them, if they go to the sea, we will dive in. If they hide in the bushes, we will be offensive in our approach. All these approaches will be policy-driven and within the ambits of the law. <full-text>Fourth-placed Valencia looks to keep the pressure on in the three teams above them in the BBVA Primera Liga table when Unai Emery's side plays away to Osasuna on Sunday night. With Sevilla, Real Madrid and Barcelona all playing on Saturday, Valencia's players know that should Sevilla lose in Tenerife and Real Madrid slip up at home to Racing Santander, they can move above Sevilla to just one point behind Real Madrid. Osasuna, however, will be tough rivals, despite an outbreak of Swine Flu that has left four players struggling to be fully fit. Winger Juanfran says he will play if needed, but the club will probably prefer to maintain him separate from his companions to avoid risk of infection. Valencia's main problem could be tiredness after Carlos Marchena, David Silva, David Villa, Juan Mata and Pablo Hernandez only returned to the club on Thursday after international duty with Spain. Elsewhere there is plenty of tension. Bottom of the table Malaga recovers players such as Juantio, Apono, Rosario and Luque from injury for the visit of Zaragoza. However, with his side bottom of the table with no win since the first day of the season, Malaga coach Juan Muniz needs a win or else he could lose his job. Villarreal will look to striker Nilmar, who scored two goals in two games for Brazil last week, to spearhead its charge against Valladolid. Villarreal lost its last game 3-2 away to Sevilla, but Ernesto Valverde's team is showing signs of recovery after a poor start to the season. Second from bottom Xerez receives the visit of seventh placed Sporting Gijon and the crowd should be in good spirits after a week of demonstrations to help the club out of its current financial crisis. Sixth placed Mallorca welcomes top scorer Aritz Aduriz back from injury for the home game against Almeria. Almeria coach Hugo Sanchez was booed by his own fans as his side was knocked out of the Kings cup 10 days ago, but with his team in a comfortable 11th place, his job looks to be safe for the moment. Finally Espanyol receives Getafe in a mid-table battle. &$&$Source: Xinhua&$&$ </full-text>

However, he took the ball too wide and the defense was able to recover. Barcelona dominated the ball and produced several decent chances, with Pablo Rodriguez and Xabi Hernandez both going close to opening the scoring. Xabi was the closest to scoring after a Messi pass after 30 minutes, but it was the home side that had the best chance in the first 45 minutes after Javi Martinez headed Fran Yeste's cross wide in the last move of the half. That proved to be an expensive miss when Alves got on the end of Xabi's magnificent through ball seven minutes into the second half. The Brazilian right back kept his calm and beat Gorka with a low shot that went in at the far post. Athletic coach Joaquin Caparros reacted quickly by introducing striker Gaizka Toquero and the move paid off just after the hour when Toquero side footed home a pass from Fernando Llorente. Barcelona brought on French striker Thierry Henry for the closing minutes and Henry was booed by the home fans for his blatant handball against Ireland in last week's World Cup qualifying match. Herny contributed nothing to the game and there was no further change to the score. The final score means that Barcelona slip to second place for next week's visit of Real Madrid who top the standings after a 1-0home win over Racing Santander. Elsewhere Sevilla remains third after a 2-1 win in Tenerife, while Deportivo la Coruna scored a last minute penalty to beat Atletico Madrid 2-1. &$&$Source: Xinhua&$&$ </full-text>

Ezequiel Garay got a touch on Kaka's cross, but it was Higuain who was on hand to make sure the ball crossed the line. Once again the Argentine forward justified his place in the Madrid starting lineup. The second half, however, was a dull affair. Although Real Madrid did appear to run out of steam, the visitors were not able to pose any serious threats to their defense. Racing had the ball into the back of the Madrid net with just 13 minutes remaining through right back Canales, but the referee ruled the effort out for an offside which television recast showedto be inexistent. The victory keeps Madrid in the race for the Primera Liga title, but does little to answer questions about the form of Manuel Pellegrini's side this season.

&$&$Source: Xinhua&$&$ </full-text>
